Rob and Cara Greger's association with dogs started long before their association with each other. However, both partnerships are sure to last their lifetimes.

The Gregers, with their daughter, Jenny, make their home between Livingston and Bozeman, Montana. They live on 40 acres, with 40 full-time dogs at Anduril Kennels.

Both Rob and Cara currently teach community obedience training classes, and run a private boarding kennel. They also do a great deal of volunteer work with the local animal shelter.

Rob started running sled dog teams in 1988, with a "how-to" book and a borrowed sled. Rob entered his first race in 1991 "just for the fun of it," and he has been hooked ever since. To help acquire professional firsthand experience, Rob spent a year (May, 1992-May, 1993) apprenticing with a musher in Alaska. Cara's family was competing with AKC show dogs from the time she was 6 years old. She raised and trained dogs with 4-H as well as AKC, and trained her first "Guide Dog for the Blind" puppy in 1978. Cara competes with Belgian Sheepdogs in AKC conformation shows, agility, and obedience trials.
